The 1^st International Workshop on Line Geometry and Kinematics (IW-LGK-11)

The workshop focuses on providing a forum for presentation and discussion of both academic and industrial research involving theoretical and applied Kinematics and of Line Geometry as one of its mathematical basis.

The IW-LGK-11 brought together scientists from all over the world working on these topics, sometimes more or less isolated or in smaller national scientific communities. Since Kinematics and its line geometric methods of treating it recently made great advances it seems worthwhile to the organizers to communicate the state of the art as well as to collect and spread new ideas, which might, in the future, have impact to industrial applications, too.

The organization committee thanks all visiting scientists for supporting the conference with so much enthusiasm.
Thanks to your contributions the "1^st International Workshop on Line Geometry and Kinematics" was a successful event stimulating new discussions and research.
