On the origin of the Math Adventure Land Dresden
Initially it was a business man who suggested for Dresden an exhibition on the model of the successful Mathematikum. This idea could eventually be realized when it met with similiar plans at Dresden's university and at a municipal museum, and finally received funding from the Saxonian Ministry of Cultural Affairs and from the city government. Applicants were the math professors Bernhard Ganter and Volker Nollau, now scientific directors of the exhibition. Curator on the museums side is Dr. Michael Vogt. The professional designer is Dipl.-Ing. Antje Werner.
