Mathematics Adventure Land Dresden was established with funding from the Free State of Saxony. The Saxonian State Ministry of Cultural Affairs has supported the three-year development phase with substantial funds. In addition, the City of Dresden also made funds available for the museum facilities and the necessary infrastructure.

In addition, there have been numerous smaller and larger individual donations, including from
