Introduction

This is a implementation of 

    The G4-Heuristic for the Pallet Loading Problem 

a paper by  Guntram Scheithauer and Johannes Terno,
published in JORS 47 (1996) 511--522
(available at www.math.tu-dresden.de\~capad ).

This programm runs in DOS-Realmode (640 KB memory) and solves only
VERY SMALL instances of the pallet loading problem!

If you get an runtime error with code 203 - your example
was to big!

How to use

Usage: g4-demo pl pw l w

necessary parameters:
      pl           ... length of the pallet   [  <= 500 ]
      pw           ... width  of the pallet   [  <= 500 ]
      l            ... length of the piece
      w            ... width  of the piece

Restrictions
-------------------------------------------------

Maximal pallet dimension                     :  500
maximal number of rasterpoints               :  650
