R. Picard: On a Comprehensive Class of Time-Shift Invariant Evolutionary Problems.Evolutionary Problems.
Theory and Applications.
Abstract. In a  Hilbert space setting a general class of time-shift invariant so-called evolutionary equations (containing standard evolution equations as special cases) is introduced. Evolutionary equations allow for a simple unified solution theory and cover a large variety of initial boundary value problems from mathematical physics. The frame work is illustrated by applications to several example cases.
