We are glad to announce this three day international conference which will take place on the campus of the Technische Universiät Dresden. The aim of the conference is to bring together people from all over the world working in optimization and related topics.
The conference shall also highlight results of the research project "Error Bounds, Critical Solutions and Numerical Methods for Smooth and Nonsmooth Optimization and Equilibrium Problems" within the  Initiative  "Trilateral Partnerships - Cooperation Projects between Scholars and Scientists from Ukraine, Russia and Germany" of the Volkswagen Foundation.
Furthermore, the conference shall provide an occasion to celebrate the 60th birthday of Andreas Fischer.

The conference venue is the building called Willers-Bau (address: Zellescher Weg 12-14, 01069 Dresden) at the main campus of the TU Dresden. Click here for some map showing the location of the building. A more detailed travel guide can be found below.
The talks will take part in room WIL/B321, the registration and the coffee breaks will be in or in front of room WIL/C207. Some map of the Willersbau where the locations of these two rooms are highlighted (in red) can be found here (WIL/B321) and here (WIL/C207).

If you would like to participate, please send an e-mail to ✉ with your name and affiliation. The registraton fee is 50.00 Euro (waived for invited participants). Payment details will be announced in the reply to your registration e-mail.
The deadline for the submission of abstracts was March 31, 2019.

Information for Speakers of Contributed Talks
Each contributed talk is 30 minutes long and includes a short discussion. We will provide a laptop and a data projector for the presentation. A black board and/or a flip chart will be available, too.

Alternatively, there are many hotels nearby. If you have any difficulty getting in touch with any of the hotels, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Social Events
A conference dinner will take place in the restaurant "Dresdner Aussicht" in the evening of August 1 (Thursday).
If the weather provides, we invite you to join us in a hiking tour on August 2 (Friday) after the closing of the conference. Details will be announced during the conference.
